From Blogger to Brand Voice: An Evening with Julia Bryce
The North East Communication Group invites local communicators, creatives and brand storytellers to an inspiring evening of conversation with Julia Bryce – one of Aberdeen’s most recognisable voices in the food and drink scene.
Hosted at Wild Goose, this informal session will explore Julia’s multifaceted career as a food and drink blogger, social media influencer, journalist, editor and creative. Known for her candid reflections and community focus, Julia will share her journey through the ever-evolving media landscape – from building credibility in the early days of digital content to fostering authentic audience engagement in a crowded online world.
Inside the Conversation
Guests can look forward to a lively and interactive discussion, where Julia will offer insight into:
How she’s built and sustained her personal brand in the north-east
Lessons learned from years of creating, curating and communicating in local media
Practical advice for those seeking to grow their own platforms and connections
The session will include an open Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to pose their own questions and gain advice from Julia’s wealth of experience.
Spotlight on Wild Goose
The evening will also feature a short talk from Stuart Ross, owner of the event’s stunning venue, Wild Goose. He’ll share the story behind the space – from its architectural heritage to its creative transformation into one of Aberdeen’s most atmospheric gathering spots.
Guests will even be treated to a sneak peek of the venue’s Victorian toilets, alongside a brief history of their unique place in Aberdeen’s past.
Food, Networking and Creative Connections
In true North East Communication Group spirit, the evening promises not just great conversation but great company. Attendees will enjoy a delicious grazing board (included in the ticket price) and have the chance to network with fellow professionals across PR, marketing, media and design. A cash bar will also be available throughout the night.
